Universe_JDJ Posted December 4, 2006 Share Posted December 4, 2006 Hi, I recently installed Mac OS X 10.4.3 onto the following system: Intel Pentium 4 2.6Ghz with HT Gigabyte GA-8S648FX 512MB DDR RAM Palit Radeon 9550 256MB AGP 8X I can boot into OS X in safe mode, however, but I get a kernel panic when booting normally. I've posted a screenshot below: Anyone have any suggestions to fixing it? Hard to tell because the flash from camera is in bad spot. oktar Posted January 9, 2007 Share Posted January 9, 2007 I have the same motherboard as you. Disable HyperTreading and put the hard disk and dvd both on master on different ide channels. That should work i think. If you want my exact BIOS settings, let me know.
