sofilinder@hotmail.com Posted December 4, 2006 Share Posted December 4, 2006 hello friends! i'm really going crazy here! i'm new to this site so please forgive me if i've posted this in the wrong section (and also, please have mercy with my english - i'm swedish)! anyways, my question is: how the --- do i upgrade my imac g4 from mac osx to os 10.4 or higher? I used to have os 10.4 but the i had to reinstall everything and what happend then was that i all of a sudden was stuck with os x. why is this and how do i do to change the os? I would really be so greatfull if someone could please help me with this! i'm not too smart when it comes to computers so a guide for dummies would be something for me =) also, i'm wondering if someone could tell me what i can do to fix my dvd burner? the cd-rw works great but the dvd-rw just stopped working! Help!!! thanx! Rammjet Posted December 4, 2006 Share Posted December 4, 2006 Stuck with OSX what? 10.0, 10.1, 10.2, 10.3 or 10.4? To update from one of the others to 10.4, you need a 10.4. DVD. Then to update from 10.4 to 10.4.8, use the Software Update as asap18 recommended. Oh, and this section is for Tutorials. This is not a tutorial.
