Hi.

I want to keep tabs on what sites are being accessed from our network. I've seen Ethereal, but my experiences (on ubuntu) were that it was more complicated than what I'm looking for.

I'm using OS X, and I would like software that would show me the ip addresses of the computers on our network and what websites they are visiting. It isn't imperative, but it would be nice to track what the users are sending too.. (i.e. tracking keystrokes as well).

Does anyone have any recommendations?

I found a nice one, but it's not supported on Intel Macs. Dang.

dSniff does everything I need it to do.

# Capture e-mail, ftp, telnet and other plain text passwords transmitted across many protocols

# Capture instant messages

# Capture websites visited by users on your network

Ride Along feature allows you to monitor the websites visited on your network in the built in web browser in real time.

Does anyone know a good one off the top of their head that works on Intel Macs??

Sorry, never needed nor used anything as sophisticated as this for checking traffic on my home network.

Not sure if this helps, but the v0.3.2 Control program for dSniff is PPC only. But dSniff can be compiled for OSX. There is a released version 2.3 and a development version 2.4.

You will need to download the Xcode tools from Apple after you join the Developer program (free).
