I was a bit surprised about the size, I thought it's a bit smaller than a Mac mini, but not so much smaller. I'm a bit disappointed about the UEFI boot time, normally OEM UEFIs are faster . Still not happy with the fan noise, have to figure out which settings work better. I only own it for a few days, so far everything seems to work. Thunderbolt and the SD-card reader are not testet yet. An AppleALC.kext attached where headphones, internal and external mic can be used (layout 8). No fake kexts necessary. Some Geekbench screenshoots for comparison. I can also make a list of what works and what doesn't, if desired. Feel free to share your thoughts about the NUC.
