Hello all I had a hackintosh which ran snow leopard and I used it as for film scoring the motherboard died and now I am planning to get a 5,1 macpro and use this with that, i had ##### what do I do to make it usable with the mac,

The installation was done with a legitimate copy of snow leopard

Not a good idea at all imo. 1st of all, you may find you encounter issues booting OpenCore on that MP5,1, then the SL build is likely to require adjustment to remove all traces of things related to the Hackintosh it ran on/for.

When you get your MP5,1, just get it to boot into recovery mode and re-install the original Mac OS X version it came with (SL or Lion). All MacPro5,1 are officially supported up to Mojave 10.14. With the right hardware specs (usually a compatible graphics card) and some specific patches, they can run Catalina & Big Sur too.
