toolbag
I did a dd of the deadmoo image to an ide drive and put it in a Dell Optiplex GX 270 hoping that would be easier than trying to throw together a Gigabyte system that I've seen outlined in a few other places. It actually boots but the display is in monochrome (real ugly and slow). I keep looking at this: http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.ph..._OptiPlex_GX270 I'm not terribly versed in OSx but it appears I should delete some kernel extension drivers but they don't really outline which ones. I've googled around a bit but (being a windows guy) the terminology is a little foreign so I think I'm missing out on a lot of good info. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Another question. Assuming I can actually get this working am I limited to the intel onboard hardware or is it possible to add a better video card and sound card? Rammjet
Deadmoo is 10.4.1. Apple made major changes to OSX starting with 10.4.3 and as a result, most current Intel OSX apps will not run on 10.4.1. You might want to find a more recent version of OSX - 10.4.6, 10.4.7, 10.4.8 (SSE3 only)
