TobiM192 0
Hi, i´m using osx on VMware Workstation 15.5.6 and it will work well. But when i want to open the Dashboard it will be so slow. It is possible to make it faster? In my PC is a grapic Card gtx 980 ti 6GB. Thanks Tobi
Hervé 2,093
GeForce GTX 980 is a Maxwell card and cards of that generation have no native support. They're only supported (from Yosemite 10.10 to High Sierra 10.13) with the relevant/appropriate nVidia Web Driver. I guess you have no graphics acceleration under your VM right now (is it all all achievable in a VM with the relevant Web Driver?) so, indeed, many things including some basic OS operations (that nevetheless require some little animation), will run slow. TobiM192 0
Thank you, then i will create an new VM with high Sierra. To get more performance from my gtx which driver must be install? Can you write some links of drive that i must install? Thanks Tobi
Hervé 2,093
InsanelyMac hosts dedicated threads relating to nVidia Web Drivers for OS X/macOS versions, including for High Sierra. Just look it up; you'll find it with a basic forum (or Google) search...
