Hi, I have lost count of how many times I've read the rules - I can't post anywhere other than here yet. What's wrong?

Thanks @fantomas. But may I suggest that this rule should be advertised more aggressively? It also took me a while to find it in the forum, and not being able to reply to existing thereads was quite confusing. The 10-post rule would best be included in the Forum Rules and/or been given a more explicit title such as " [IMPORTANT] Read before you post" or "Why you cannot post".

I agree, I had to search a lot to find out why I can't post. Also, 50 posts is exaggerated, I came here to post comments in a guide asking for some clarifications, but I cannot do that until I reach 50 posts. This is extremely annoying, I have never been on a forum that did this before.

I think it is a problem that all new users have that would like to contribute but are stuck by this 10 post rule.
It's almost an invitation to SPAM!
Browsing I saw several threads where I could contribute, but I am unable to write.
I understand that when a forum reaches a certain size it is burdensome to administer and control it, but it would be enough to ask users to click on "report" in case of spam.
