iceage2609 Posted December 30, 2020 Share Posted December 30, 2020 I am on Catalina 10.15.7 with my ancient build " 2,67 GHz Intel Core i7 (Bloomfield?I guess), Ga EX58 ud3R and the only part I have changed through the osx86 years an ASUS GeForce GT 710. I created a usb stick with the latest clover bootloader r5127. I manage to boot normally through the installation process but I couldn't install to my external HDD because I was getting an "update disk firmware error". Changing the MacPro5,1 to 7,1 on SMBIOS did the trick. The disk became available (formatted in APFS) but just 10-12 minutes before the end I am getting a Bless error every time.
