vinnytwice Posted December 26, 2020 Share Posted December 26, 2020 I installed Catalina through EasyMBR and I have a few things that seem to be to finish set-up correctly. The first thing that I notice being wrong is the Catalina ssd Icon, which is a folder icon and not a disk icon. Then another problem is with a couple of disks. The first one is a Western Digital WDC WD10EAVS-00M4B0 Media 1 TB HDD and is never recognized from the system at boot up, and closing to initialize it does nothing, if I then choose to erase it it fails with the "Unable to write to the last block of the device. : (-69760)" error. The second one is a Toshiba TOSHIBA HDWQ140 Media 4 TB disk , which is recognized only if I boot up from the machine turned off, on restart is not recognized as the other one. Is there any kext I should use to fix this? Many thanks.
