I'm using a USB dongle (Orico BTA-403), it works great but the airdrop doesn't work. My motherboard is a Z490 UD. I've tried to do this in this order: → Reset Nvram Open Core defaults write com.apple.NetworkBrowser DisableAirDrop -bool YES defaults write com.apple.NetworkBrowser DisableAirDrop -bool NO defaults write com.apple.NetworkBrowser BrowseAllInterfaces 1 → Reset The airdrop does not even appear in the Go menu of the Finder, if I have it opened by the spotlight I have the following error "The operation can’t be completed because the item can’t be found." ltooz_audis Posted December 29, 2020 Share Posted December 29, 2020 Air drop only works with low power wifi and bluetooth module 4.0+ and both Wifi and Bluetooth must be on. It doesn't matter what desktop or laptop you use, the only hand-off supported devices are: BCM94352,BCM94350, BCM94360 as I know.
