razor7 Posted November 22, 2020 Share Posted November 22, 2020 Hi, I have built a rig with the followind hardware specs: Huananzhi X99 F8 Intel Xeon E5-2680 v4 64 GB RAM ECC Aorus RX580 8GB NVNe Samsung 970 Evo Plus 500GB NVNe Kingston SA2000M81000G 1TB I have tried several EFI packs found elsewere on the internet to put on my usb Catalina install USB media but none worked. How can I get started? I have used this EFI pack https://drive.google.com/file/d/1P1Ksu16OeZVB5r9Y4k-YjNggdLEZtNkq/view as an example of what I was trying, but with it it gets stuck at early startup with a lon string of plus characters.
