winapenny
I'm so fed-up as I still can't get the audio work for my notebook HP compaq nc4010. I've tried a lot of tricks in this forum, using the altered kext from Macgirl, adding entries to Info.list: none of them give me any luck from 10.4.5, 6, 7, 8. Here's my audio spec.: Soundmax Integrated Digital Audio: PCI\VEN_10B9&DEV_5451&SUBSYS_005A0E11&REV_02\3&61AAA01&0&30 Anybody help please ?? Rammjet
vendor 10b9 = ALi Corporation 10b9:5451 = M5451 PCI AC-Link Controller Audio Device Based on Google, not even the Linux community knows what to do with this one. There are a couple of threads on this board about the device with no posted solutions. Rammjet
I know, that's why I'm so fed-up! Get an inexpensive USB sound device from eBay. Sound in and out.
