someguy_360
Hi All, Long time reader first time poster. My Hackintosh has been running Catalina + OC 0.6.2 flawlessly for a couple of months now but the itch to upgrade my ram had bitten. I've gone from 2x 8GB sticks to 4x 8GB sticks (32GB total) and now I get VirtualSMC hangs when booting. If I remove the extra ram the system boots fine. I'm using the iMacPro1,1 SMBIOS which supports 32GB of ram. Can anyone offer any assistance or have I wasted my money buying the extra RAM Thanks Edited November 2, 2020 by someguy_360
