zenhomeboy Posted November 30, 2006 Share Posted November 30, 2006 GREETS ALL I.m new to osxx86 and just can't wait!!! my 10.4.7 Jas DVD boots up on my Dell OPtiplex260 with 80G maxtor and 20G seagate drives running win xp. I've done all the steps and even installed successfully(?) but that was before i learned how to get a correct color gui by upping my uma to 8M in BIOS. That install gave me an "HFS+ partition error", and Iwanted to do th e install over anyway, now that i could see what i doing. That gray scale wasa {censored}! So I've started back to where I was - made a new fat32 partition of 20G which xp likes, but DISK UTILITY on the DVD just twiddles away forever, never showing anything found. BTW when I boot up with GPARTED DVD It does the same thing, never returning. IDEAS? HELP!!
