karegraph Posted November 30, 2006 Share Posted November 30, 2006 i used the 10.4.6 HotISO a few months ago. it was very stable. but not supported QE - CI. after install the 10.4.8 JaS (demonoid reseeded), in first reboot it was an error said "Unable to find driver for this platform :"ACPI"". then reinstall the os with optimized option (uncheck ATI pathces, printer drivers etc..). it was boot but reset after "loading Darwin/X86" appear. i removed the IOPCIFamily.kext it wasn't reset but same error appeared : Unable to find driver for this platform :"ACPI" HELPPPPPPPPPPPP MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEe !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Proc : P4 3.0 HT Presscott /// write in boot (200x15). i don't know this Mainboard : 8I915P pro Graphic : 256 Mb GeForce 6600 GT Network : Onboard (Broadcom chipset) RAM : 1 GB multiboot with chain0 i solve that problem with correct installation options without QE and CI (amd...
