joonyv
On one of my machines, everything is working fine but I notice that, although IGPU is correctly identified and with the correct amount of VRAM, the gpu is not accelerating the OS. Everything is on the cpu which is always pegged. On all my other hacks, cpu usage is pretty low because gpu is giving a good hand in all tasks. Another curious thing, gpu doesn’t show on Istats. Is it possible to have the gpu correctly installed but metal deactivated? Open core 0.6.0 I5 Haswell desktop HD 4600 Latest evergreen and Lilu kexts. On settings, it shows metal supported gpu family1 v4. Checking activity monitor, all processes have 0% gpu, so definitely no acceleration even tough gpu is being recognized. help please. xtraa
Your graphics device might run in legacy mode. If so, you possibly need a Kext patch to change the deviceID, so that the OS can recognize it again.
