hey trying to get Catalina working on my laptop.

So I'm following the opencore Guide, and I made the usb file, but when i try to get the installer running it freezes on this:

And I added my EFI folder if someone can help me make it work I'd be grateful.

I dont know lol on the open core site there is like a specific list.

So do I need to download the drivers file and add it to the efi folder? or just adding a kext is enough. (By the way I know I'm asking a lot of questions but is there a specific kext to use if needed?)

ok that was kind of a stupid question.

well I followed your advice and made a new EFI folder based on kaby lake.

 

yet when i try to boot up into the installer i get stuck on this:

I've been trying for a while now to get this up and running and I always end up getting stuck here.

I've added the I2C Kexts 

and disables PS2trackpad in my config.

Do you know of a fix?
