After having an easy time with Yosemite I decided to install El Capitan after I began having issues with certain websites and Safari.

Everything seems to be working ok except the monitor refuses to wake from sleep.

Everything comes to life except the screen and the computer must be rebooted.

The system is a Gateway DX4840 with i3 540, I'm looking to pass it along to a nephew but not before fixing the issue.

Here's what I have tried:

Every darkwake value possible

Determined the Wake reason: GBE EUSB

Renamed EUSB to EH01 and USBE to EH02 and created a SSDT for the USB

There are no USB3 ports only USB2.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
