bgrau
Not sure where I could put these... I acquired a Mac Mini early 2009 at a cheap price on eBay, good machine, last officially allowed O/S is El Capitan. One can upgrade up to Mojave using patches, Mojave rather slow, but High Sierra & Sierra are very responsive. As it was loaded with OS X Snow Leopard, I got High Sierra on the integrated internal disk, & various versions of OS X on externals (HD, SSD, USB sticks...) I got an old version of Hackintosh El Capitan with great settings & tried it, it worked well but had to remove all the Hackintosh patching material. Also had to do an in place upgrade. One issue though was Appstore updates which refused to download Apple updates not already installed, so had to do these manually. <placeholder> Edited August 27, 2020 by bgrau Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/344945-mac-mini-early-2009-tests-trials-macmin31/ Share on other sites
