867158
Hene, I just finished creating a Usb stick with Opencore for my old Dell T5400 I have (Legacy mode of course). I popped in the stick and when I booted from it I got this screen with red text saying something about a General Protection Fault and a bunch of Hex codes across the screen (pic attached below). Can anybody help me debug this problem. This is my first Hackintosh so I'm kinda a n00b. Thx, 867158 Spoiler Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/344669-general-protection-fault-booting-my-legacy-opencore-usb-stick/ Share on other sites

867158
Let me get those specs for you, but that pdf helped me with the nic stuff, which i'm gonna have to compile my own kext for, but i'll do that after its installed. I was using OpenCore due to the excellent docs they have, and really good hardware support. It has a Quad Core Xeon E5410 running at 2.33GHz, Geforce GTX Titan, 3 SSDS connected via SATA, One with Ubuntu, One with Windows 10, and One for the OSX install. It also has a BCM5754 which i will have to compile a kext for, and 8 gigs of ram ECC memory at 667Mhz. 867158
do i need all of the Bios Drivers you listed or only one of each, cause i know mixing drivers can be bad. also how do i find the PCI id for the NIC, and what kind of things would i want to create/modify for my config? 867158
also how do i get the PCI id for the network chip. Another thing is that it isn't a card, its built in to the board. Does that mean it has a PCI id or not?
