Hello, I did successful Hackintosh with clover before. But started to study OpenCore 0.5.8 - Catalina 10.15.5 installation stuck at boot screen - “apfs_sysctl_register:1165 done registering sysctls’

and then the booting won’t go any further, I get stop or invalid Apple logo. Kindly help me out with the issue. Thanks

Please, add your hardware information to your signature so we know which hardware are we talking about. :)

Also, what size is that USB drive? How big is the HFS partition for MacOS installer?

And if you can, it would probably help if you could upload your EFI folder (remove smbios info from config) to see maybe there's something wrong with that.

Also, can you boot your current installation (in case there is one) with that OC from the USB drive? Basically, just select the USB from the boot menu (F12 for Gigabyte boards, F11 for MSI, and I think F8 for ASUS) and in the boot picker, instead of following on the installer path, try to boot your current MacOS drive. If it works, then the issue is probably not on the OC side.

Firstly thank you for trying to help me, I was successful at installing. I just added USBinjectall kext and did an OC snapshot, saved my config.plist and it booted great. I also checked my plist on OpenCore sanity checker to be sure everything is right. I installed successfully. One doubt what method is better for USB mapping is the creating USB ports map.kext method or ACPI patch .aml method. Thanks Again

To be honest, I don't know. I'm using fakePCIID + XHCIMux kexts and that works perfectly fine for me. No need for USBInjectAll. So...I don't know honestly. I think the best way is the one you know. :))
