Hello,

I'm hoping to install 10.15.4 (and stay on the latest) OSX with my Supermicro X10SRA-F setup.  I've made my way through the OpenCore guide, but as expected, the C612(X99) chipset hits several of the corner cases.  I don't currently have a working Clover EFI so I'm starting from scratch with OpenCore.  I would consider myself a novice to Hackintosh systems, but I can somewhat grasp what's going on and can follow directions.

Things I've done:

  • Set BIOS options according to OpenCore Guide
  • Patched BIOS to remove MSR CFG Lock
  • Attempted to boot with attached EFI zip

Questions:

  • This motherboard has an aspeed VGA port.  I didn't see it in the ACPI dump, but I'm a novice looking at these.  I'm sure I need to disable it if it shows up here and would appreciate a second look.  Could this be one of my problems?
  • Since I'm not making it to the installer, can someone identify what I may be doing wrong?

Attachments:

  • Original ACPI dump
  • Current EFI folder (OpenCore 0.5.8), this zip contains the failed boot logs.

Thanks in advance to anyone that takes the time to help me.  I really appreciate it.

Hi, I have also a Supermicro board, a X10DRL-i with dual socket, and also trying to install Catalina on it. I just get into OpenCore menu, but stuck after selecting macOS install. Did you find all options in the BIOS? How did you patched the BIOS to remove MSR CFG Lock? Thanks!
