hedefalk
Hi, new user so noob alert. I've really tried searching though so please be patient with me <3 I'm having sleep issues on my desktop OpenCore Hackintosh. It's a Designare Z390 running OpenCore 0.5.6. I'm not sure exactly what sleep feature I need working, but I basically just want decent startup with persisted state while being able to leave the computer with minimal power consumption and no fan spin. Hibernation would be fine I think. So what happens is that when I manually enter sleep, the Hackintosh does its work, blacks out and finally I also hear a relay switch in the PSU. A few seconds later though, the same relay switches back on and the computer wakes into a black state. Hitting a key now immediately brings everything back. So no problem that I loose any state. However, it never really goes into a long sleep. If I leave it it cycles while keeping a black screen - the PSU relay switches on and off around every minute or so. ❯ pmset -g System-wide power settings: Currently in use: hibernatemode 0 womp 0 networkoversleep 0 sleep 10 Sleep On Power Button 1 ttyskeepawake 1 hibernatefile /var/vm/sleepimage disksleep 10 gpuswitch 2 displaysleep 10 I'm not really sure what to look for, but here's a log for such an event:https://gist.github.com/hedefalk/c284ae4fde018d8c9c6bdf70e5bd9e48#file-gistfile2-txt This seems suspicious of course but I can't seem to find anything around that: >Idle sleep preventers: IODisplayWrangler Any tips highly appreciated! It's an eight page thread, I can't seem to find anything that will help me…?
