.NoFaTe.
I've been trying to install macOS Catalina on my laptop (ThinkPad, i7-9750H, GTX 1650 MAXQ) using OpenCore but to no avail. I've followed the "OpenCore Desktop Guide" tutorial (and the relevant laptop sections), created a GPT HFS+J USB stick with the Catalina installer, and set up OpenCore in its EFI partition. I also dumped my DSDT and SSDT ACPI modules (using Clover and SSDTTime), and created the relevant patches based on what was in the tutorials and the hardware of my laptop. However, every time I try to launch the Catalina installer, it gets stuck at the following line: [EB|#LOG:EXITBS:START] 2020-04-17T18:27:59 I tried tweaking various OpenCore configuration options (like the CFG options, MMIO, disabling KEXTs and UEFI drivers) but nothing seems to help. I also ran a debug version of OpenCore with verbose logging enabled and there's nothing that seems to indicate what went wrong. In all cases, nothing is printed after that line and I also see no I/O on my USB stick. I have attached my configuration down below (also includes a log file from my latest attempt) and I would greatly appreciate some help. Thanks in advance!
