During the first boot after the gray apple the screen become blue and the only thing that there is , is the black mouse pointer. In the installation menu the only thing i add is the patch for the ss3. If i add the ati patch the screen during the boot become black anche the monitor seem to go in standby. Rammjet
During installation, in Customize, only select Intel Combo Update and Intel SSE3. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/34315-problem-booting-1047/#findComment-243099 Share on other sites

Rammjet
Hi , i've just tried to select only Intel SSE3 but nothing change.Any other Idea ? Well I hope you selected Intel SSE3 and the Intel Combo Update or else you are not running 10.4.7. You will be running 10.4.4. Anyway, I read mixed things for the x1650. Some successes (mostly with PCI-e) and some failures (mostly with AGP). One thought is that the card has 2 DVI ports and DVI doesn't always work. So, try a DVI-VGA adapter and see what that does. http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=33020 http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?act...st&p=238004 If that works, then you will still need to get some drivers going. Go to the Boris link in my signature. Posting #1 is a manual method. Posting #3 has an installer (use the older installer for 10.4.7). They work slightly differently, so one may work better than the other. The installer gives you an uninstaller, so read the panels in the installer for details. Another solution is to go for 10.4.8. You might be able to use Natit/Titan to get video (including DVI) working. If you follow this route, look for the JaS 10.4.8 Intel SSE3 Only Reseed iso.
