enlaid
Hello, I have problem with my LG 27UL650 (4k / HDR) after update to 10.15.4 - default colors are bright, contrast is bad, shadows under windows look terrible. Monitor is conntected to RX580 via DisplayPort 1.4. When macOS turns on I see "HDR" in right up corner. I tried changing color profile, enabling and disabling HDR in macOS's display settings, reseting monitor to factory settings - no results. I can't disable HDR mode in monitor OSD. How to disable HDR support like in 10.15.3? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/343115-10154-lg-27ul650-hdr-issue/ Share on other sites
TokyoHam
You can disable HDR in System Preferences -> Display. There's a toggle under the Rotation setting. enlaid
It's not working. No matter if HDR in System preferences is on or off - monitor is in HDR mode. EDIT: I created display override (with force RGB mode) in Hackintool and now colours are correct but HDR option is gone.
