Bluetooth - bcm943602cs <combo> on catalina doesn't work

Hi,

 

I'm having trouble connecting my bt devices using bcm943602cs combo card. Wifi is working. Am I missing something? I thought it's plug and play.

 

I've tried these kexts:

BrcmBluetoothInjector.kext

BrcmFirmwareRepo.kext

BrcmPatchRAM3.kext

 

...and many many other solutions inc installing kext using hackintool to L/E

 

Help me good ppl!

PS: With bluetooth dongle + BrcmPatchRAM2.kext everything works fine.

Not sure if it will help but I had the same issue but with the bcm943602cs card. Wifi worked out of the box but not bluetooth. I initially had brcmp patches in teh \OTHER folder in clover EFI partition but it did not work. After scouring the net all over I found what worked at least for me:

- get rod of brcm patches in \OTHER. My understanding is that because this card is a genuine apple card, those kexts are not needed

- in the config plist (loaded in clover configurator after mounting the EFI partition), I had to remap the USB ports. Changing EHC1 to EH01 and EHC2 to EH02 in the acpi section

- finally I installed usbinjectall (something like that) in /Library/Extension (I followed the guide of that kext of github)

 

Rebooted and then I could see the BT card and pair all my BT devices (magic mouse, magic kb and yamaha soundbar)

Hi, Thanks for your post. I've been using USB bluetooth dongle for some time now. I will get back to this once I upgrade my CPU&RAM & install opencore.
