drminchev Posted February 8, 2020 Share Posted February 8, 2020 Hello there, I am a newcomer here and I'm trying to reserach which of my MB+CPU combos laying around could be the best option to start a Hackintosh project. The options are the following: 2500K + AsRock Z77 Extreme 4 or 6600K + H170 ProM 4 Plus i could add a Radeon 6950 or RX580 8gb to that mix. I am pretty sure that asking for a giude is too much but I would most definately appreciate your opinion on the compatibility of those combos. Cheers! C.Frio Posted February 8, 2020 Share Posted February 8, 2020 hi... z170 will be better ok . don't know how long...but suppose for some time.. z390 best ,with proper cpu..(budget options) rx 580 seem better.. don't need to be an 6600K (K) 'cause your MB will be H...
