sarabulho
You have to try installing on a USB external HD first, and then, if you succeeded, dd the installation to a partition of your internal HD. OSX Installer will not be able to do it straight on because, even if it can see your HD partitions, it will not be able to mount it, you will get a message like "unable to read disk table". I own a Pavilion like yours but i am presently dealing with kernel panic. I was able however to do a complete install of a patched OSX 10.4.8 to an USB HD that worked on my desktop, network(wired) but no sound. Check this thread: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?sho...7&hl=dv6000 These guys are doing progress on dv's.
