I saw this guide but it seems that people are only working with clean installs: https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/files/file/985-catalina-mbr-hfs-firmware-check-patch/ A few things about my setup: Hybrid MBR in GPT Partition Scheme Legacy Boot (EFI is not supported on my Motherboard) Triple boot with MacOSX, Windows and Linux It is a rather unique setup and I am realizing it's getting harder and harder to maintain.
