Hi,

Just recently updated to Catalina, and after install, I was having the same problem as many with my Dell DW1560.  I finally tried the combination of having AirportbrcmFixUp.kext, Injector, Patchram2, and firmwaredata.  After reboot, everything came back up except the Bluetooth has no connectivity and cannot discover my magic mouse or keyboard.  I am continuing to search through the forums and the one thread I was following, I have no clue exactly how to edit the files it was asking for.

Thanks for the help...any advice would be greatly appreciated

You should be following this - https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/339175-brcmpatchram2-for-1015-catalina-broadcom-bluetooth-firmware-upload/

In summary - Have the following

  • AirportBrcmFixup.kext (2.0.4)
  • BrcmBluetoothInjector.kext (2.5.0)
  • BrcmFirmwareData.kext (2.5.0)
  • BrcmPatchRAM3.kext (2.5.0).

Download the last 3 from from here https://github.com/acidanthera/BrcmPatchRAM/releases

Reboot and test with

log show --last boot | grep -i 'brcmf\|brcmp'

Also your system report (About this Mac) >> Bluetooth should show Firmware Version as a Non 4096 value.

  Firmware Version: v14 c5668
