Hardware: ASUS H81M-Plus with Haswell refres i5-4460 processor with intel HD4600 graphics. UEFI bios has been correctly set up. Just after the start of installation, it gets stuck at XCPM: registered. When creating the install USB, I used Clover 5100. Thank you. freshynek Posted December 15, 2019 Author Share Posted December 15, 2019 (edited) Thank you for your effort. I used your edited config.plist, but to no avail. It gets stuck at the same point. I googled the matter and it seems to be related to ASUS UEFI bios, that needs to be patched apparently. The problem may be connected to AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.kext (AICPUPM) or XNU Power Management (XCPM) and 0xE2 MSR locked register. I guess I need to patch the kernel, instead of patching the UEFI bios. But I dont know how. Thank you.
