pp77
Hi everyone! Recently i was contemplating buying a cheap PC based on a Via C7 CPU at 2.0 Ghz, acording to Via's specifications it has SSE, SSE2 and SSE3 (plus MMX). Is it possible to make a hackintosh based on this CPU? Thank you for your help. ceynox
I Think it should be possible, but i think it'll need some cpuid patches (just like AMD's) but thats just a step in the dark from me Second, i don't know how good your chipset is supported etc. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/34151-via-c7-and-osx86/#findComment-242057 Share on other sites
PowerPC12395
Yeah I would like to see how this turns out as well, because I am interested in buying the Samsung NC20, which would be a DREAM to have hackintoshed. It also possesses the VAI processor and I am curious to see whether this can be hackintoshed successfully. I did notice this page however, http://www.mymacnetbook.com/compatibility-chart/ Yeah I would like to see how this turns out as well, because I am interested in buying the Samsung NC20, which would be a DREAM to have hackintoshed.
