whatnameisit Posted November 17, 2019 Share Posted November 17, 2019 (edited) I have a Toshiba laptop with NVidia 315M which in Windows has 512 Mb of memory and allows backlight configuration. In HS, the memory size is down to 256 Mb and the backlight does not change. I had followed the guide below and got the slider enabled (but as the slider did not work I changed a couple of things.) Also the display icon on the menu bar is shown as external display and so it stays there unless I remove it. Any thoughts please?
