perk Posted October 31, 2019 Share Posted October 31, 2019 Hello. New here and need some push in the right direction. After my iMac broke Down, I have decided to build my own Mac. It will be used for film composing (lots of software instruments and a DAW), so I need a lot of RAM and a strong anough CPU (thinking at least 4 cores).And fast enough disks. I am also considering stripping my old and retired G5 Powermac and use the case (it it is doable and works good). I am kind of on a Budget, so I am not looking for the most expensive components I can get. I want something that I has been tried and tested and that I know will work (also because of the Budget).
