willibald
I am amazed scrolling through this forum: I seem to be the only one with that problem: I managed to install High Sierra 13.6.2 on my internal SSD, prevented Conversion to APFS, after a lot of trial and error, but the main problem is: I can only boot from USB. Bios is recognizing the SSD, it's described as bootable in Disk Utility info, I transferred the EFI from bootloader into EFI of SSD, and Disk Utility told me, in "repair permissions" that there a no bootable "packages" or something. Forgot the correct term, because "repair disk permissions" does not seem to be an option in High Sierra anymore. I read somewhere that the EFI Partition in the SSD has to be formatted to FAT 3 or so? Anyway, booting from the target drive without USB presents me a "entry forbidden sign, circle/slash. Any Ideas? Thanks a lot upfront to everyone! Something else: Do I still need the APFS.efi in my Clover Folder, when I prevented conversion to APFS?
