munky
So I'm not much of a movie editing person, but I was at a wedding the other weekend and decided to give my photos and short movies from it the iPhoto / iMovie / iDVD treatment. Once my photos had been thru the usual DNG converter -> Aperture route, I got a selection into iPhoto so I can get better control over the 'ken burns effect' etc, and created a slideshow, exported to iDVD, fine, no probs all good. iMovie, however, was a different story. I wanted to have a title screen with a caption, which then crossfaded into live action. This appears to split off a section of the clip and generate (and render) a new crossfade clip. The audio from the clip is nothing but a series of stutters at this point, until the crossfade is over and the clip proper starts. I thought this was just a rendering issue on the computer (MacBook Pro btw, not hackintosh), and it would be fine on the final DVD, but the DVD has the exact same problem during playback. Anyone come across this? Anyone know how to fix it? TIA
