systm Posted November 24, 2006 Share Posted November 24, 2006 I was wondering if it would be possible to overclock intergrated graphics cards, specifically the MacBook, as the cards are underclocked by 41%. While in most cases this doesn't matter to me, I'd like for it to be able to play CS:S. I can play HL2 no issue, but CS:S is where its at IF anyone has experiance with such projects, please post experiances and programs. I've tried Powerstrip with the default GFX drivers apple distributes. munky Posted November 24, 2006 Share Posted November 24, 2006 the 40-odd percent figure you quoted is for the MacBook Pro - the Radeon X1600 Mobility in the MBP is underclocked to make it run cooler and to improve battery life.
