Hi,

 

First, my question is not hackintosh related, but I thought that you guys here may be the more competent to answer me.

 

I'm looking for a way to disable the sample rate and the clock source combobox preset in the audio midi setup for a given USB device (a given vendorId/productId pair).

I eared about custom kext that may do that, but there is not any documentation on the subject. I've found a really old example of a guy who's connecting a given app to the "configure device" option shown when right clicking on the device in AMS.

 

If you guys have any idea on how to do it, I will greatly appreciate and you will have my respect because I've already spend a lot on time on this without any result.
