apple tech geek Posted July 25, 2019 Share Posted July 25, 2019 so i've just got sierra to run very fast on my dell latitude e6540 in software raid 0 (read and write speeds over 900) now from my tests so far i can install a bootloader on the drives and get the bootloader to work and detect both drives but when i boot the apple logo appears with no hdd activity and a no symbol at about 50% of the bar now if i boot the array using the installer usb and select one of the drives it'll boot fine is there anyway to get it to work normally or a janky bypass? i've already tried to make a 5gb partition and raid the other 2 remaining partitions so 1 drive as a extra partition but it doesnt seem to boot from that partition i've already copied the all the efi partition contents to both drives Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
