someguy22 Posted November 23, 2006 Share Posted November 23, 2006 Hi all I have been trying to install OSX on my laptop and im having some problems. I am installing 10.4.5 and it takes 43 minutes to start setup and get to the partitioner. and then it takes around 5 hours to install osx. After that it takes about 2 hours to boot to the desktop. A few people have said my drives might be in PIO mode.
