camielverdult Posted July 13, 2019 Share Posted July 13, 2019 Hi all, Just got the 3600X and swapped out my Z87 config.plist with the one provided by https://github.com/AMD-OSX/AMD_Vanilla. All seems to be working, except for sound. My board is the Asus Prime Pro X470 with the Realtek® S1220A audio codec. I have tried the following: Injecting layout-id 1 via Clover Injecting layout-id 1 as an integer to device PciRoot(0x0)/Pci(0x8,0x1)/Pci(0x0,0x4) Hardcoding a layout-id in an SSDT and injecting that Using AppleALC's boot argument alcid None of these changed the layout-id from 7 to anything else.
