Any ideas why that may be so? The system was really, really stable under Sierra; I would greatly appreciate your help, as I seriously rely on a stable macOS environment for daily tasks, but can't splash out on a proper Mac at the minute, being busy graduating from a foreign university. As it stands, navigating to Twitter in Safari results in the machine becoming unresponsive to the point it has to be shut down manually. The same occurs when trying to play a trailer in iTunes. It never happened in Sierra, and while those aren't critical, they might not be the only things affected. Thus, important unsaved projects may be at risk. I suppose it all has to do with DRM, which I managed to fix back on Sierra using Shiki. However, I can't make heads or tails of this new WhatEverGreen kext, and I hear one loses IQSV and mirroring if they instal WEG improperly. Muito obrigado antecipadamente! Am I supposed to put the kexts to Clover's 'other' directory, as most guides suggest, or go for S/L/E/ instead, as per tonymac? Illus1ve Posted May 19, 2019 Author Share Posted May 19, 2019 (edited) Sir, you're the man! Videos on Twitter, Instagram, etc. play now, no crashes! The USB ports are operating at USB 3 speeds now. A proper serial number is displayed in 'About This Mac'. iTunes now plays trailers in HD, but the screen remains dark when trying to play a music video (sound present). Also, Clover shows only C6 states are enabled for the CPU (I think C4 used to be checked, too, don't know if I need it), and the built-in sound card is still not recognised. Sleep mode won't turn on, either.
