t4ggs Posted November 21, 2006 Share Posted November 21, 2006 Hi I cant install mac os x86 on my pc. Whe I try to install it get stuck before I enter in the installer. Either if I dot it normal or in the verbose mode. My pc has a abit aa8xe motherboard, p-4 3.06 Ghz 64 bit processor, 1Gb DD2 of ram and an nVidia 6600 GT video card.. KKKen Posted November 22, 2006 Share Posted November 22, 2006 do you have the STOP SIGN just above the APPLE LOGO when you BOOT. it looks like a circle with a line throught it diagonally (/) Well if it does, i think its waiting for root device. t4ggs Posted November 22, 2006 Author Share Posted November 22, 2006 If I try to install from the CD in the normal mode, i pass the apple boot screen and get something like -sh -2.05or something like that ant it seems like DOS ; if I boot with -v it arrives to a blue screen with a mouse cursor but it get stuck there, I could wait 3 hours and it will still be in the same screen. Even the upper mac bar with the little apple in blue, does not appear.
