uisik34 Posted March 4, 2019 Share Posted March 4, 2019 (edited) Hello Insanelymac people, I am back here again after sold my 3rd generation Toshiba Portege Laptop and bought 8th generation Thinkpad and specification is as following; Lenovo ThinkPad E480 CPU Intel Core i5-8250U GPU Intel UHD Graphics 620 RAM 8GB DDR4-2400, 1 of 2 slots free, max. 32 GB Screen 14 inch 16:9, 1920 x 1080 pixel 157 PPI, Innolux N140HCA-EAC, IPS LED Mainboard Intel Kaby Lake-U + iHDCP 2.2 Premium PCH Storage Toshiba 512 GB nvme gen x4 + 512 GB Micron Sata SSD Soundcard Conexant CX11852 Connections 1 USB 2.0, 2 USB 3.0 / 3.1 Gen1, 1 USB 3.1 Gen2, 1 HDMI, 1 Kensington Lock, Audio 3.5-mm audio combo jack, Card Reader: MicroSD, 1 Fingerprint Reader Networking Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller (10/100/1000MBit), Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 3165 (a/b/g/n/ac), Bluetooth 4.1 Webcam: 720p Additional features Speakers: 1.5 W stereo speakers, Keyboard: 6-row chiclet keyboard, Keyboard Light: no, Well, during my earlier searches on internet there is kind of problem about UHD620 graphic card configuration and i am stuck with my personal trials on different images High Sierra 10.13.6 and Mojave 10.14.2. I tried Rehabman Config plist Intel HD 620 (Smbios ID Macbook Pro 14,1) with success on both booting from USB stick and vram size at 1536mb but stuck at clover boot from installed harddrive. When I tried Config plist for UHD630 (Smbios ID Macbook Pro 15,2) then I can boot from USB stick but vram size at 7mb and again no success to boot from installed harddisk. Can someone share me ready config plist with smbios ID for my configuration above? Edited March 5, 2019 by uisik34 Success guide for other similar hardware users... What works; Cpu - GPU - Nvme disk - Sata disk - Bluetooth - Webcam - USB 3.0 - Conexant sound chipset - Realtek Ethernet - Asus Nano wifi - LCD Screen - HDMI Output - Apfs Apple Store Update What doesn't work Intel Wifi Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
