Vladrevan Posted February 23, 2019 Share Posted February 23, 2019 Hi, everyone.I have successfully installed Mojave on my MSI GE62 2QF laptop and fixed everything except the USB ports.I have previously had a problem with them not working at all, but I managed to fix that by applying the FakePCIID_XHCIMux kext.Now all my USB ports are functional but as USB 2.0, the 3.0 devices are recognized but not working as supposed. Also I have an MSI EPF USB problem, mentioned here - https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/msi-gt72-msi-epf-usb-spam.195367/I tried to follow all the recomendations, but I probably don't have enough brain cells to figure out how to make the usb work as desired in my specific case.Can anyone lead me to an easy press-the-button-to-fix guide or at least give me a sort of a hint on what do I start with?What I have already tried is:EHCx to EH0x - makes the USB ports dead.OSI to XOSI - gives nothing noticable USB port limit - turning on/off gives no effect.
