Backtrace terminated-invalid frame pointer 0x00

Hello all,

 

 

First off, I have been searching but I'm still relatively new to all of this stuff.

 

 

I have a hp pavillion zx5000 notebook that is 2.8 ghz and can handle MMX,SSE, SSE2.

 

When I boot the HOTiSO release with -v -s -x platform=x86pc rd=disk0s2

 

 

I get something about a debug panic and then it looks like its referencing some memory locations, then says

Backtrace terminated-invalid frame pointer 0x00.

 

Then the installer hangs.

 

Does this sound like a problem with my partitioning?

 

I created the parition by using the windows vista CD --> command prompt with this:

 

create partition primary id=af

 

It then created the partition as partition 2.

 

So my partitino table looks like this

 

Partition 1 | Primary | 26 GB

Partition 2 | Primary | 10 GB

Partition 0 | Extended | 19 GB

 

Part 1 has vista, and Im trying to install os x on part 2

 

Any help would be appriciated.
