well as the topic says, I can't see any of my partitions or my hardrives in the DISC UTILITIES in the ISNTALLER. My first problem was the waitin for root devices. But i fixed that by swapping around the IDE controllers. SO my DVD is MASTER, whilst HDD is SLAVE and WHOLLAH , i can boot the installer. BUT i'm stuck on the HDD part.

Anyone help me out? THERE IS THO, 1 weird ATA disk thing, its not my hardrive, I think its my DVD drive, which i set to master thru jumper settings. The disk utilities doesn't even detect my hard drive.... any solutions to this? is it coz i changed the jumper settings? and what shall i do? i had tos wap IDE channels or else my DVD won't boot

My HDD is SATA and its 120 GB, first partition is hidden as the ACER SERVICE THINGY, the next one is windows, followed by an extended partition which consists of a backupdata partition and the unpartitioned space i'm gonna use for OSX

I'm using Jas 10.4.7 and my comp specs can handle it.

They are

Intel Celeron D 3.06 GHZ

512 Memory (not sure which)

Geforce Graphic card 5200 (Which i put in)

Chip SET SIS 661FX

Southbridge SIS 964

Sensor ITE iT8705

SO please help me out ASAP , my hopes were up when the Installer worked, really lookin forward to this as i need it for multimedia purposes. Plz help me out
