thetrystero
So here's the deal, I had partitioned my 250GB SSD in to to equal partitions prior to my install, thinking that I could install my working OS on one partition and the recovery on the other. After cloning over my working OS on the other partition (which is called "Recovery") and then in trying to mount the EFI using clover configurator, I just realized that I may actually have come up on a faux pas. The 250GB drive is disk4 and shows two synthetic drives, "OS" = disk5 for the working OS) and "Recovery" = disk6, but I think i just realized that the EFI is common to both i.e. it's installed on the disk4?? Is there anyway to get the system to recognize the disk5 and disk6 as separate physical drives and install the EFI separately on each?
LockDown
my recovery (Highsierra) has always been on my data hd (mechanical drive). it served its purpose on my sierra, highsierra & mojave in times of disaster during OS updates.
